Patient presented with chief complaint of weight loss insomnia, puffiness around the eyes, anxiety, weight gain, weakness for the past 3 months. Patient has no past medical history.
Vitals:
BP: 140/95
Pulse: 82 bpm
Temperature: 98 F
Labs Ordered:
Labs were ordered for thyroid function test
Lab results:
Labs reported T3 to be 0.44 ng/ml. T4 and TSH were in normal range. Report showed hypothyroidism.
Diagnosis:
Patient diagnosed to have hypothyroidism. Patient is advised to see an endocrinologist and to start taking thyroid medications. Repeat the labs in 3 months. Exercise regularly and eat healthy food.
