Patient presented with chief complaint of polyuria, polydypsia, dizziness, shortness of breath, fruity odour for the past 1 month. Patient has a family history of type-2 diabetes, hypertension

Labs were ordered fasting blood sugar HgbA1c
Lab results:
Labs reported sugar to be 318.02 mg/dl
Diagnosis:
Patient is diagnosed to have type-2 diabetes. Patient is supposed to start taking antiglycemic medications as soon as possible. Patient is recommended to see her PCP, start healthy diet, loose weight and exercise regularly.
